Mike Olexa Biography
Success came early for Mike Olexa and it came in the form of academics and athletics. While attending Archbishop Moeller Catholic High School in Cincinnati, Ohio, Mike found a passion and talent for football and baseball.
Excelling in baseball, he set school records in almost every season. Mike set career hitting records and was the anchor of the 1989 State Championship baseball Team.
Mike Olexa played with the likes of Ken Griffey Jr and David Bell while at Moeller and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1995.
Mike’s academic and athletic skills awarded him a baseball scholarship to the world renowned Duke University in Durham, NC. Not only did he continue to stand out in baseball at Duke, Mike also achieved the all Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Honor Roll.
Upon graduation Mike moved on to play Class A baseball for the Milwaukee Brewers organization.
For most people this would have been the apex of a great career, but for Mike Olexa it was only the beginning. He next ventured into the corporate world achieving rapid success with a very large Fortune 100 Company. His specialty was in business development.
Mikes track record of success continued in the corporate setting allowing him to retire early. This freed him to move on to his true business passion-Real Estate. This is when all of his life’s experience melded together.
Mike Olexa literally started his career in real estate at the ground level. He bought and sold a single property for a profit in the mid 1990's. This developed a passion for finding deals. He in turn re-invested those profits into other properties. For 14 years Mike Olexa has been doing this with great success. From single properties, to large tracts to completed subdivisions-Mike Olexa has learned from hands on experience the ins and outs of the real estate world.

Bill Hitchcock Biography
Bill Hitchcock was involved in the television and film industry for 25 years-Owning his own production company called "Hitchcock Broadcasting" for 17 of those years.
His primary duties included creating and producing regional television programs and documentaries, independent producer for networks, federal and state agencies and long form industrial videos and streaming media content for the internet.
Bill also served as segment producer for projects affiliated with syndicated television programs. His credits include The Discovery Channel, The History Channel, ESPN, National Geographic, The Outdoor Channel, The Outdoor Life Channel and ABC, NBC , FOX and CBS Networks.
Bill’s earlier national cable company work garnered him two National Cable Association’s “Ace Awards” and a three time winner of broadcast television’s prestigious, “Addy Award”.
Early on Bill recognized that times and technology were changing. He saw the melding of the internet, video and television was inevitable. As a result, Bill was one of the leaders in the technological revolution by creating, producing and web casting videos and programming as early as 1996.
Bill’s involvement with the coast, the marine environment and saltwater fishing has been just as extensive as his television and internet experience. Here to, Bill was able to meld several things together; Media with his love of the coast.
Bill Hitchcock was the coordinator & publicist for the NC Tag-A Giant Bluefin Tuna Conservation Series, on the advisory board member for North Carolina Sea Grant, educational committee member and publicists for the North Carolina Fisheries Association, on the National Marine Fisheries Bottle Nose Dolphin Take Reduction Team, member of the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission’s Spiny Dogfish Board, past President of the Cape Lookout Sport Fishing Association and a life member of the Coastal Conservation Association.
Bill is also an Accredited Buyer’s Representative with the Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council, a perennial multi-million dollar real estate producer and owns a real estate agency in Morehead City, NC.
Randy Hignite Operations Manager for Inner Banks Living
Randy Hignite Biography
Singer and musician Randy Hignite was born in Connersville, Indiana, to Leonard and Carol and lived in Indiana until age eight when his family moved to Greenville, North Carolina. Hignite has always had a love for music and began playing the piano and trumpet in his early teens in addition to singing in school and church choirs. He played the trumpet from seventh grade through high school, including high school marching band and concert band, and played the piano in the high school jazz band. He also took private singing lessons from the renowned opera teacher, Dr. Robert Hiss.
After high school, Hignite received his Real Estate and General Contractor license and worked in the family real estate business but continued to pursue a music career, often performing 200-300 times a year. He was a member of The Avengers who later became the Band of Oz, one of the top bands in North Carolina today. In 1990, he accepted an offer from The Embers to play keyboard. After touring with The Embers for a year and completing 320 performances, he decided to leave the band. Since then he has played with a number of musicians, including Maceo Parker and Jackie Gore.
Hignite now owns a heavy equipment company, a Real Estate, Construction, and Environmental Consulting Company, and leases land for hunting and farming purposes in Hyde County, North Carolina, where he calls home. However, music is still part of his life. For the last four years, he has continued to play three keyboards and sing lead vocals with The Mighty Saints of Soul. The other band members are Johnnie Byrd, Jim Heidenreich, and Danny Garner. The group plays for corporate events, festivals, concerts, night clubs, colleges, and parties as well as for children who are sick and other charitable benefits. They recently played to raise money for the families of two F-15E pilots who died in Afghanistan. Hignite has also formed a nonprofit foundation called The Saints Making Dreams Come True to help people who are less fortunate.
Recently Hignite began composing music and has written and recorded two songs where he sings lead. The compositions have had some interest on a national level, and he has written all of the songs for a new CD that The Mighty Saints of Soul are preparing to record.
